a Really Useful 'Card'
for Birthdays and Anniversaries
"I really don't know whether I should buy you a card," my confused husband said.
Here I am trumpeting on and on about avoiding single-use paper products, and then I expect him to buy an anniversary/birthday card??
So I designed this really useful 'card' for our last anniversary. It is to be sniffed at ... totally and definitely!
The font used here is Kristen ITC. It is one of my favourites because the quirky text looks well-balanced when embroidered. Not all fonts do.
And the price?
For text-only designs, the first 2000 text stitches in a single colour are included in the price which are:
Large Flannel Hankie: £7.00
Small Flannel Hankie: £6.50
Additional text stitches are charged at 50 pence per 1000 text stitches run. Also, if ordering more than one handkerchief, we charge for the TOTAL number of stitches for the order instead of per handkerchief.
The following shows an order of Three Large Flannel Handkerchiefs with 10,000 text-only stitches run in total (different colour thread). The additional 4000 text stitches (£2.00) will be charged on top of the £21.00 (3 x £7.00).
P&P is £2 to £3.00. On an average our customers pay between £8.50 to £11.00 per hankie.
Using pictures?
If a graphic/picture is required, then only the first 1000 stitches come with the price. Additional stitches cost £1.00 per 1000 stitches run. This is to reflect design time. If you provide the design/logo, then we could possibly reduce the charge.
Please note that text which requires a lot of design time or colour changes will be considered as a graphic and charged as a graphic.
