My husband and I differ in opinion over what is a dish cloth. He says it is for doing the swishing around in the washing up bowl. I tend to use this cloth for mopping up spills and wiping down the dining table after a meal.
Either way, the advantage of cloth is that it can be thrown in with the laundry for a hot wash. For the purpose of wiping down counter tops, this cloth works best when slightly damp. Then rinse it out with soapy water and hang up to dry.
