Some of us have learned to bring our own shopping bags to the supermarket. But when stepping out to get some lunch? Most reusable shopping bags, frankly, look hideous. So we've designed this to help people switch from those brown paper bags. Why not help them dispense with another disposable?
Nine reasons why they should have this cloth bag :
It’s similar in size to the paper bag and holds just as much, if not more.
It makes a statement on the generously-sized pocket.
It does not provide free advertising for the vendor, who should be paying YOU for walking around with their brand.
It does not disintegrate in the sudden downpours you get only at your lunch breaks.
It’s cheap and easy to send in the post as a present.
It's squashable.
It's washable with your normal laundry. Steam iron if necessary, though using it all creased up will signify that you approve of an even smaller carbon footprint.
It's reusable.
It will survive for weeks in a drawer without a wash.
Each bag is made personally by Siew-Peng using hand-dyed and handloom Fairtrade organic cotton fabric (by members of the KV Kuppam co-operative) and machine-embroidered in a smoke-free house, working in natural light.
Each bag measures about 7” x 8½” with a 3½” gusset. These bags are also a good size for children's little hands.
One "gone green" Bag is only £10.00 including UK P&P.
