Wet Wipes Solution

With the news that Wet Wipes - the disposable ones - are causing havoc to the environment (eg here), I thought I should make available a 'recipe' that can be used to make your own reusable wipes. The flannel hankies from our shop will make good wipes.

The picture above shows the original Hankettes (now Eco-Freako) wipes.

Our soft flannel hankies will make good reusable wipes.

Or why not try our reusable cosmetic pads

This 'recipe' for a safe solution was shared with me by people at Hankettes (now Eco-Freako). Do tell me how you get on with it:

Mix together in a 4L water jug

3500ml Distilled Water
300ml Lavender Water
200ml Witch Hazel Distillate
2 tsp Olive Oil
2 tsp Jojoba Oil
2 tsp All Natural Liquid Soap
1/4 tsp Vitamin E (optional)
10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

Mix all ingredients together, shake well and pour some into a small plastic squirt, pump or spray bottle to keep handy when needed.
